Executive Director Finalists:

Teresa Baker

Ms. Baker will be interviewed on May 9 by members of the Board of Directors and by senior management.

There will be two opportunities that day for others to interact with Ms. Baker. From 12:15 to 1:30 there will be a luncheon at the Pueblo Union Depot that is open to all GOAL employees, but is limited to 60 people, and advance tickets are required. Those employees interested in attending should send an email from a GOAL email account with “Meet the Candidate” in the Subject line to Joan Rennekamp at jrennekamp@lrrc.com to request a ticket. The email should contain the employee’s name, region, and position, along with the date of the luncheon being requested. Generally, tickets will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, although Ms. Rennekamp may deny some requests in order to allow for representation from all regions of the state. Tickets must be requested no later than noon on May 4.

There will also be a webinar from 4:00 to 5:00 that day that will be open to any interested individual or group. Ms. Baker will take about 15 minutes to explain her background and her interest in the Executive Director position, and then will be available for questions from those signed in to the webinar. Listeners will also be able to submit comments regarding the candidate and, although we likely will not be able to address all questions, all comments will go to the Board of Directors to assist them in their decision making process. Employees who wish to listen in on this webinar are strongly encouraged to do so as a group at their local site, and to invite interested parents, students, and community members as well.
