Graduation Requirements
2020-2021

- The accredited Colorado Department of Education high school diploma awarded by GOAL High School represents a high standard of quality in the curriculum content, instruction, and student learning.
- The high school diploma should be recognized as a document that reflects substantial effort by the student and the school in preparation for the world of work and higher education.
- GOAL offers students two pathways to earning their accredited high school diploma, "GOAL 22" or "Senior Recovery".

GOAL 22
- 22 Credits are required for this Graduation Pathway.
GOAL 22 is our standard and most followed graduation pathway. This pathway allows students to take a variety of courses in core areas along with enrichment electives. GOAL 22 provides students with the skills needed to enter college and/or the workforce after graduation.
The content area requirements are listed below:
- • Language arts - 4.0 Credits
- • Mathematics - 3.0 Credits
- • Social Studies - 3.0 Credits
- • Science - 2.0 Credits
- • Physical Education - 0.5 Credits
- • Health - 0.5 Credits
- • Electives - 9.0 Credits
Senior Recovery
- 8.5 Credits are required for this Graduation Pathway.
GOAL High School's Senior Recovery plan of study is a program providing students the opportunity to demonstrate competency in postsecondary workforce readiness.
The content area requirements are listed below:
- • English - 1.5 Credits
- • Mathematics - 1.5 Credits
- • Social Studies - 2.0 Credits
- • Science - 1.5 Credits
- • Health - 0.5 Credits
- • Electives - 1.5 Credits
Pre-requisites:
- • Highly Motivated
- • Autonomous Learner
- • 12th Grade Senior
- • STAR Math GLE of 9.0
- • STAR Reading GLE of 8.0
